HOLIDAY INN is a great story about second chances and finding love when you least expect it. I think this story is full of drama and tragedy that makes the reader feel the emotions right along with the characters. Anna is impulsive and kind, while Jesse is fighting his own demons from the past. There are instant fireworks when they meet and the reader knows they will make a good match. Shelby Reed has done a wonderful job of penning a plot full of emotion and passion.

Shelby Reed succeeds in creating a story not only about the battle between the heavenly beings and the demons of the underworld, but to have her intertwine it with a bit of romance is truly remarkable…the sexual tension and the love scenes she has written between Joachim and Gia are tender and sweet. Seraphim is most definitely a keeper in my shelf…

Seraphim is a poignant tale of love and belief. The battle of good vs. evil is clearly outlined in the most basic sense; Michael’s warriors against Lucifer’s minions. Never has the struggle between the two factions been written of so imaginatively. Ms. Reed does a wonderful job of taking a romance and weaving it into a full-bodied love story. I really enjoyed Joachim’s struggle with his ‘human’ side and was surprised that I didn’t mourn the possibility that he would succumb. Gia was a powerful character that grew from page one into an amazing woman. This is a fabulous book and I hope that Ms. Reed writes more along this vein.

As a reviewer I found this story outstanding. From the very first page to the last, I never knew what to expect next. It was mind blowing to learn about the rest of the angels and the way their own community worked. In the mean time I could feel the anguish and frustration between Gia and Joachim. The love between them is genuine, and the physical attraction was enough to set the pages of this book on fire. The end left you satisfied and hoping that maybe a new series would begin from this book. We can only pray that it does!

The sexual tension in Seraphim is so high that when someone interrupted me with a knock at the door, I was ready to choke the living daylights out of whoever was standing on the other side. Love scenes are explicit but deeply emotional and moving, which makes Seraphim a highly satisfying romance. Shelby Reed is a truly terrific storyteller, and I can't get enough of her work. Trust me, romance fans won’t want to pass this author up.

Shelby Reed draws vivid characters with extreme emotions and drives. The story is filled with action and adventure as well as a love story between a woman married to a demon, fighting feelings for one of God’s angels and an angel in the body of a sensual human trying to come to terms with his feelings for a mortal woman. This book will keep the reader on the edge of his/her seat waiting to find out what happens next. I look forward to reading more books by this author.

Shelby Reed invites readers into the mystical world of warring angels and demons in her sensual and thrilling novel… Reminiscent in some ways of Perriti’s THIS PRESENT DARKNESS, SERAPHIM is fast-paced and exciting. Readers will appreciate the creative license the author has taken in order to depict the battling factions of Heaven and Hell. In addition, the scorching scenes of denied lust between Gia and Joachim will keep you reaching for a glass of ice water. Attraction to the forbidden is the main theme in this novel, and readers will not be disappointed at the end result. SERAPHIM is a book I will most certainly read again.
